France Elévateur acquired by H.I.G.-backed Time Manufacturing Holdings

Time Manufacturing Holdings, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, has acquired France Elévateur (FE Group), a French manufacturer of vehicle-mounted aerial platforms.

Established in 1984, France Elévateur caters to customers in several trades such as electric utility, public lighting, telecommunications, rail networks, roofing, and other fields that need access solutions.

France Elévateur has a couple of manufacturing sites in France and Spain. It has 15 service facilities to provide machinery and after-market services across Europe.

On the other hand, Time Manufacturing Holdings is a US-based provider of vehicle-mounted aerial lifts. It was acquired by H.I.G. Capital from The Sterling Group in December 2021.

Charles Goffin — France Elévateur CEO said: “Together, Time Manufacturing and France Elévateur can leverage their combined portfolio of vehicle-mounted access products to bring additional solutions to all customers.”

According to H.I.G. Capital, the deal will consolidate the global manufacturing capabilities of the combined platform of Time Manufacturing Holdings and France Elévateur. It will also improve value to customers via a wider portfolio of complementary services and products.

Curt Howell — Time Manufacturing Company CEO said: “The France Elévateur acquisition represents a meaningful step forward in our global growth plan by adding more than 450 experienced professionals, a world-class regional product line, and over a dozen facilities across France, Belgium, and Spain.

“Leveraging our existing reach in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Switzerland, The FE Group improves our reach in the important national markets of Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Eastern France and Spain.”
