Fast-growing Emirati Fly Vaayu has partnered with Ramco Systems to implement its next-generation aviation software, marking a strategic move to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. This agreement will also extend to , India’s youngest cargo airline and a key investment of the Vaayu Group.

The partnership will see Ramco Systems deploying its aviation management software, integrating modules for CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation), maintenance planning, line maintenance, supply chain management, and finance & accounting. The aim is to bolster Fly Vaayu’s operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service capabilities, positioning the airline for rapid expansion in the global cargo market.

Fly Vaayu’s digital transformation strategy

Fly Vaayu, based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, is positioning itself as a regional cargo hub, offering its capacity to freight forwarders, importers, exporters, transhippers, e-commerce businesses, and charter operators. The airline, which received its first A320-200P2F freighter in October 2024, is the first carrier in the Middle East to operate an A320 freighter. The aircraft conversion was completed at ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services.

The airline is set to operate cargo flights across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, aiming to support global supply chains with seamless, tech-enabled cargo services.

Commenting on the decision to adopt Ramco’s aviation management software, Mujahid Hussain, Chief Information Officer of Fly Vaayu, stated that the company was looking for a scalable, digital infrastructure to support its rapid growth and improve customer offerings. He expressed confidence that Ramco’s advanced functionalities and AI-driven solutions would give Fly Vaayu a technological edge in the competitive air cargo sector.

Pradhaan Air Express, a non-scheduled cargo airline based in New Delhi, is among the early adopters of Airbus A320 Passenger-to-Freight (P2F) converted aircraft. The airline has made significant strides in the domestic and international cargo market, executing high-value charter operations.

According to Nipun Anand, Founder and CEO of Pradhaan Air Express, the company selected Ramco Systems’ aviation software to gain a sustainable competitive advantage, enhance cost-efficiency, and improve customer service levels.
