Eyelash extension studio chain Deka Lash to foray into Canada
US beauty company Deka Lash, which specializes in eyelash extensions, is expanding globally with a launch in Canada.
Established in 2011 by Jennifer Blair and Michael Blair, the beauty company started off as a single shop in a one-room studio outside of Pittsburgh in Shadyside, Pennsylvania. The retail salons chain launched its franchise concept in the US in 2016 and currently has more than 200 stores franchised in the country.

It is now time to make Deka Lash a global brand.”
Mushabbir & Shama Kaiser Chowdhury and Sandra & Sharif Elhilali are the Canadian franchisees who will open the Deka Lash studios in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario in Canada.

Deka Lash studios are said to use the expertise of highly trained and licensed lash artists apply semi-permanent, custom eyelash extensions to the clients’ own lashes, providing various looks and styles. The studios have an online booking option and extended hours including weekend appointments for the convenience of the clients.
The beauty company’s recent launch TrueXpress is said to provide time-constrained women with a quick approach to have beautiful lashes.
