Event management software firms Ungerboeck, EventBooking announce merger

Ungerboeck has agreed to merge with rival software provider of event and venue management tools – EventBooking.

The financial terms of the deal were not revealed by the parties.

Ungerboeck caters to more than 50,000 users in 50 plus countries with its event and venue management software. Its platform provides event professionals Software as a Service (SaaS) technology that gives a 360 view of their business to enable them to reduce costs, save time, and boost revenue.

Event Booking is a SaaS company with a specialization in online booking and venue management. It serves arenas, convention centers, stadiums, performing arts centers, and others.

The client base of Event Booking is said to span 24 countries and more than 1,000 venues.

The combination of the two firms is expected to give expedited technology improvements and fast tracked innovation to customers.

Manish Chandak will be the President and CEO of the combined company, while Steve Mackenzie of EventBooking will be its Executive Vice President.

Steve Mackenzie said: “Together, we unify our efforts to provide easy-to-learn and powerful products to drive the industry forward, all while we marry the aspects that clients love about each.

“And, of course, the biggest focus will always be on service and ensuring we continue to set the standard in this area.”
