Eutelsat Communications has teamed up with (EITC), commonly known as du, to strengthen its Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite services across the and North Africa (MENA) region.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance capacity at the 7/8° West orbital position, fostering seamless delivery of high-definition content with an optimized user experience for du’s media customers.

The 7/8° West orbital position serves as a major broadcasting hub, reaching an estimated 90% of TV homes in the MENA region. It’s renowned for its expansive reach, offering a compelling selection of nearly 900 TV channels, making it the preferred choice for audiences in the region.

Thanks to this collaboration with Eutelsat, du can now elevate the delivery of its content to customers across the MENA region. This enhancement will not only boost the capacity, but also guarantee an exceptional end-user experience. The partnership will effectively serve customers broadcasting TV channels in both standard and high definition.
