ET Energy breaks ground on new solar projects in Chile

Solar industry news : Chinese solar module manufacturer ET Energy has commenced construction of two solar projects in Chile that are part of a 31.6MW portfolio of ten projects.

The Chilean solar farms are being developed under the South American country’s Program for Distributed Energy (PMGD).

The first two ET Energy solar projects are each of 3.168MW capacity. Both of them will feature 9,600 polycrystalline panels each, that will be mounted on single-axis trackers.

Construction of the two new solar projects in Chile is anticipated to be wrapped up inside four months.

ET Energy revealed that four more similar solar projects will break ground in the next few weeks and are expected to create job opportunities during their construction.
