EQTEC signs agreement for innovative wood waste-to-energy plant in California

This agreement with Blue Mountain Electric Company LLC (BMEC) is aimed at cleanly converting approximately 25,000 tonnes per year of wood waste into synthesis gas (syngas) for electricity production.

EQTEC expects to commence basic engineering work in early 2024 and invoice approximately $330,000 for this initial phase. The comprehensive services include detailed engineering, equipment supply, construction advisory, and commissioning services, estimated at around $10.3 million. The completion of the project depends on securing the requisite funding by BMEC.
