Entegris to break ground on $600m manufacturing CoE in Colorado Springs
Entegris, a provider of electronic materials for the semiconductor market, will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for its $600 million manufacturing center of excellence (CoE) in Colorado on Wednesday, 7 June 2023.
The event, set to take place in Colorado Springs, will mark the beginning of an ambitious project that aims to revolutionize the company’s production capabilities.
Distinguished guests and notable figures from various sectors are expected to grace the occasion with their presence. Entegris President and Chief Executive Officer, Bertrand Loy, will join Colorado Springs’ newly inaugurated Mayor, Yemi Mobolade, El Paso County Commissioner, Cami Bremer, and Johnna Reeder Kleymeyer, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation, among other esteemed dignitaries.
The new campus, strategically located in Colorado Springs, is projected to commence its initial commercial operation in early 2025. The construction of the 100,000-square-foot facility will be executed in multiple phases, with a focus on supporting the production requirements of Entegris’ Microcontamination Control (MC) and Advanced Materials Handling (AMH) divisions.
By implementing cutting-edge technologies and innovative manufacturing processes, the center for excellence aims to elevate the company’s operations to new heights.
