Engineers India Limited, Chempolis to bring green fuel technology to India

Engineers India Limited (EIL) said that it has signed a strategic alliance with Finnish biorefining company Chempolis for the conversion of biomass to green fuels.

According to the Indian government-owned engineering services company, the agreement will pave the way to undertake business development in the cellulosic 2G ethanol technology.

Engineers India Limited said that the agreement with the Finnish biorefining is a major milestone in growing its wings into futuristic green technologies beyond its oil and gas portfolio.

The company expects to see several biomass-based product facilities to be installed in India in the near future and around the world to meet the demand for green products.

Engineers India Limited and Chempolis operate in the Indian subcontinent market and are having complementary products and/ or services. Owing to this, their association is expected to add value in bringing the synergized and regulatory compliant services and products to end customers across the Indian subcontinent.
