Eaton acquires US electrical equipment manufacturer ISG

Eaton acquisition of ISG : Eaton, a global power management company, has wrapped up its previously announced acquisition of US-based Innovative Switchgear Solutions (ISG) for an undisclosed price, as per the latest energy acquisition news.

Innovative Switchgear Solutions manufactures medium-voltage electrical equipment catering to the North American utility,  industrial, and commercial markets. Based in Dacono, Colorado, Innovative Switchgear Solutions had sales of nearly $18 million in 2018.

Commenting on Eaton acquisition of ISG – Brian Brickhouse, president, Americas region, Electrical Sector at Eaton, said: “This acquisition complements our portfolio of medium-voltage switchgear solutions.

“ISG’s solid dielectric underground switchgear products provide a compact, low maintenance, highly configurable solution that helps us solve the critical challenges our customers face. We are excited to have ISG join the team.”

Eaton, which had sales of $21.6 billion in 2018, offers energy-efficient solutions for its customers to efficiently, safely and sustainably manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power. The power management company has nearly 100,000 employees and sells products to customers across 175+ countries.
