Duravant acquires poultry processing equipment manufacturer Foodmate

Duravant, a US-based engineered equipment and automation solutions provider, has closed its previously announced acquisition of Foodmate, a manufacturer of , for an undisclosed price.

Foodmate has headquarters in Ball Ground, Georgia, and also in Numansdorp in .

The deal was announced in April 2021 and was closed in late May.

According to Duravant, the acquisition of Foodmate combines two global engineered equipment providers and will thereby increase its ability to cater to customers and partners in 190 plus countries within the food processing sector.

Foodmate has manufacturing and engineering hubs across Europe, demo and showroom facilities in both the US and the . The poultry processing equipment manufacturer also has sales and assembly facilities in the US.

Furthermore, its customers are said to be supported by a local footprint in 55 countries.
