DOF Group secures lucrative contract from Subsea7 for Skandi Acergy charter
DOF Group has secured a substantial contract with Subsea7 for the Time Charter of Skandi Acergy, a key addition to their fleet. The deal, valued between USD 85 – 105 million, extends for a minimum of 18 months, significantly enhancing the Group’s backlog. The commencement of this contract is slated for Q1 2025, following the vessel’s current commitments.
Skandi Acergy: A High-Capacity Construction Vessel
Built in 2008, Skandi Acergy is a large construction vessel equipped with a 400-ton crane and a 2000m2 deck. It also boasts two installed ROV systems, which DOF will operate under this contract. This vessel represents a major asset in DOF’s expanding operations.
DOF Group’s Collaboration with Maersk Supply Service
DOF Group is also delighted to announce an agreement with Maersk Supply Service for the Time Charter of Maersk Installer. The contract, lasting two years with options for extension, is set to begin at the end of Q1 2024.
Maersk Installer: A Cutting-Edge Addition to DOF Fleet
The Maersk Installer, delivered in 2017, stands out as one of the newest and most modern subsea vessels in the market. Equipped with dual cranes and a large deck, it boasts advanced features such as DP3 and SPS, making it an ideal fit for DOF Group’s global client offerings.
