DMK continues to insult Hindus as MP A Raja compares Sanatana Dharma to HIV and leprosy

In a stunning move that has the nation buzzing, DMK MP A Raja declared that ‘Sanatana Dharma’ should be likened to socially stigmatized diseases like HIV and leprosy. Making headlines at a public event, Raja doubled down on this controversial stance, stating that his party colleague and Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s prior comments on the same topic were too “soft.”

A Raja’s Explosive Comparison of ‘Sanatana Dharma’

Raja boldly proclaimed that comparing ‘Sanatana Dharma’ to ailments like malaria and dengue doesn’t cut it. These diseases, he said, don’t carry the social ignominy that leprosy and HIV do. Therefore, in his opinion, ‘Sanatana Dharma’ should be considered a “disease ridden with social plights like HIV and leprosy.” He confidently asserted that he was prepared for a public debate with anyone on the subject, hinting he would go to great lengths to argue his case.

Reaction to Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Earlier Remarks

Previously, Udhayanidhi Stalin had also criticized ‘Sanatana Dharma,’ calling for its eradication and likening it to contagious diseases such as coronavirus, malaria, and dengue fever. Raja suggested that Stalin’s remarks did not go far enough. According to Raja, he was ready to answer any questions if a meeting with all cabinet ministers were to be convened by the Prime Minister.

Controversial Statements Spark National Outrage

This shocking declaration has already triggered national outrage. The BJP’s IT department in-charge, Amit Malviya, accused the DMK of calling for the “genocide” of a vast majority of the population who follow ‘Sanatana Dharma,’ an accusation that Udhayanidhi dismissed.

The drama continues to unfold, with leaders and citizens alike divided over these polarizing statements. As the debate rages on, one thing is clear: this controversy isn’t going away anytime soon.
