DexKo Global, an Indiana-based manufacturer of highly engineered trailer running gear, chassis assemblies, and related parts, has acquired Progress Mfg. Inc.
The acquisition was executed by its fully-owned subsidiary — Dexter Axle Company.
Based in Provo, Utah, Progress Mfg is engaged in manufacturing custom-engineered, safety-critical towing and trailering products like weight distribution hitches and integrated sway control.
The company owns brands such as Equal-i-zer Hitch and Fastway Trailer, which are sold via a dealer network in North America.
For more than 75 years, Progress Mfg has designing and making towing products like hitches, wheel chocks, ball mounts, and other trailer accessories.

DexKo Global, which is headquartered in Elkhart, has a workforce of more than 3,800 people across the US and Canada. The company has 17 manufacturing facilities and 32 distribution locations.
Established in 1960, Dexter has been catering to the utility trailer, recreational vehicle, agricultural, marine, heavy-duty, and specialty equipment manufacturers and distribution partners.
