DCB Bank Q3 FY23 profit after tax grows by 51% to Rs 114cr

DCB Bank Limited has reported INR 114 crores in profit after tax (PAT) for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q3FY2023), a 51% growth compared to INR 75 crores in the same quarter in FY 2022.

In the previous quarter, that is Q2FY2023, the profit after tax of DCB Bank was INR 112 crores.

The operating profit of the Mumbai-based private sector scheduled commercial bank for the quarter ended 31 December 2022 was INR 194 crores, a decrease of 2.5% compared to INR 199 crores in Q3FY2022.

DCB Bank posted net interest income of INR 446 crores in the reported quarter, compared to INR 345 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Murali M. Natrajan — DCB Bank Managing Director and CEO said: “Underlying performance in line with our plans and expectations. We intend to improve frontline cost productivity in the coming months. GNPA, NNPA, Credit Costs and Restructured portfolio- steadily improving.”
