Danske Bank embraces cloud technology with Amazon Web Services partnership

Danske Bank has officially entered into a significant multiyear agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS), marking a pivotal step in its digital transformation journey. This partnership is a cornerstone of Danske Bank’s Forward’28 strategy, aimed at delivering enhanced digital solutions, expanded self-service options, and seamless access to banking services for its customers. The collaboration with AWS will see Danske Bank migrating selected infrastructure, applications, and customer data to the cloud. This transition encompasses systems catering to personal, business, and institutional clients, thereby providing the bank with access to a broad spectrum of applications, services, and functionalities offered by AWS. In a significant step towards embracing cloud technology, Danske Bank has announced plans to provide AWS training to over 1,500 employees. This initiative aims to accelerate cloud adoption within the organization and integrate cloud skills into management training programs.
