Dalmia Bharat Sugar Q3FY23 profit after tax increases by 15% to Rs 65cr

Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 65 crores in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (Q3FY23), an increase of 15% compared to INR 57 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The Indian sugar manufacturing company earned a total income of INR 623 crores in Q3FY23, a decrease of 2% compared to INR 636 crores in Q3FY22.

Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries reported a sugar sales volume of 0.79 lakh MT in Q3FY23, a 30% decrease compared to 1.14 lakh MT in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

During the reported quarter, New Delhi-based sugar manufacturer commissioned the 110 KLPD Jawaharpur grain distillery to increase its total distillery capacity to 710 KLPD.
