Cyber Enviro-Tech, Inc. (CETI) has announced a significant engagement with RIVAMED, Inc. of Ankara, Turkey, to produce hybrid water treatment systems aimed at addressing overseas water contamination issues. This partnership is set to revolutionize the water purification landscape in Turkey, a country currently grappling with a severe water crisis.
RIVAMED, a Turkish engineering and manufacturing company, specializes in medical and industrial water treatment systems and has its products operational in over 50 countries. CETI’s collaboration with RIVAMED is not only a strategic move to leverage local expertise but also a crucial step in CETI’s broader mission to deliver cost-efficient and reliable water purification solutions across Turkey.
Turkey faces a significant water shortage, with 60% of its 320 lakes dried up and unregulated industrial activities contributing to severe pollution levels. Contaminants such as arsenic, chromium, nitrates, phosphates, and various industrial compounds have reached alarming levels, exacerbating public health concerns. CETI’s hybrid water treatment systems are designed to tackle these issues head-on. By integrating multiple global technologies like electrochemical processes, cavitation, and hyper clarification, these systems can reduce the use of chlorine by 90%, mitigating the formation of harmful byproducts like trihalomethanes.
Kim D. Southworth, co-founder and CEO of Cyber Enviro-Tech, Inc., emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership: “This relationship between RIVAMED and CETI is significant due to their engineering, design, and manufacturing capabilities. Working with an established and respected company like RIVAMED can open many doors to establish a much faster adoption of our combined technologies in Turkey. Lastly, this will play a valuable and lucrative part in accomplishing CETI’s vision for safe drinking water in an effective and economical way.”
