COVID-19 lockdown in India : ShopClues to deliver essential items in 48 hours in Delhi and Gurugram

COVID-19 lockdown in India : ShopClues, an Indian online marketplace, announced that orders of essential items would be delivered for its Delhi and Gurugram customers within 48 hours.

The service began early April following a lockdown announced by the Indian government to handle the coronavirus crisis in the country.

ShopClues started the service to enable its customers to get their daily and medical needs without going out to purchase them as they may be at the risk of contracting COVID-19.

The Indian online marketplace, which is owned by Clues Network, also launched contactless delivery amid the novel coronavirus outbreak by encouraging its customers to pay online for their orders. According to ShopClues, the orders will be kept at the doorstep to ensure no human contact.
