CNOOC begins production from Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 project

Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 project : Chinese national oil company CNOOC said that it has started production from the Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 area in the Bohai Sea in China.

Located in central Liaodong Bay, the Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 area is contained in an average water depth of 22.5 meters.

Apart from completely using the existing facilities of Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield and Jinzhou 25-1S oilfield, the Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 project has constructed an eight-legged wellhead platform.

CNOOC plans to drill a total of 19 production wells and 10 water injection wells for the offshore Chinese oil project.

The Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 project is anticipated to hit its peak production of around 16,500 barrels of crude oil per day in 2023.

CNOOC has a 100% interest in the Jinzhou 25-1 oilfield 6/11 area.

Recently, the Chinese national oil company began production of the Liuhua 16-2 oilfield/ 20-2 project in the Eastern South China Sea.
