Fast food restaurant company chain Church’s Chicken which specializes in fried chicken is all set to have a massive expansion with an investment of $40 million in the US.
Its new franchisee, Volunteer Chicken is to open 10 new restaurants having secured the rights and getting the necessary financial backing from the American Development Partners (ADP).
Multiple restaurants of Church’s Chicken are to be developed in the Texas cities of Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. Another deal for 10 restaurants is expected to come through in 2021.
All the new Church’s Chicken restaurants will have the new STAR Initiative Design package. It includes modern dining room décor featuring new seating installations.
The restaurants will also have trendy color palettes as far as the interior and exterior is concerned besides having enhanced architectural features, shaded canopies on the outside and sconce lighting inside.
Larry Lavigne, one of the principal partners of Volunteer Chicken, said: “Church’s Chicken is a power brand. We’re looking very forward to matching our experience with Church’s market leadership.”
Volunteer Chicken says that it will open its first batch of Church’s Chicken restaurants in fall of next year while slating the rest to come up over the next five years.
Caleb McMillen, Chief Operating Officer for ADP said: “This is a substantial deal for American Development Partners, and for our business partners, Volunteer Chicken.”
According to McMillen, the initial launch of the completed restaurants will be worth $40 million, a figure that has come through the estimation of the real estate, construction as well as design value.
Church’s Chicken and its sister brand Texas Chicken, which is known by the name outside the Americas, account to over 1,650 locations across 25 countries and international territories.
The fast food chicken restaurant chain claims to have total sales revenue of more than $1 billion.
