On April 11, 2024, the blend was used for the “first fill” of newly arrived Toyota vehicles. In addition to its introduction at the Port of Portland, Chevron demonstrated the renewable gasoline blend on a 1,000-mile road trip in July 2023. The road trip aimed to validate the blend’s performance and reliability in real-world scenarios.

The renewable gasoline blend is expected to play a significant role in reducing the carbon intensity of existing vehicles.
