Chemplast Sanmar to manufacture active ingredient for global agrochemical innovator

Chemplast Sanmar, an Indian chemical company, said that its custom-manufactured chemicals division has been chosen by a global agrochemical innovator to produce a new pipeline active ingredient (AI).

This marks a significant milestone for the company as it’s the first time they’ve been involved in manufacturing an active ingredient.

Dr Krishna Kumar Rangachari, Deputy Managing Director, Chemplast Sanmar Limited, expressed his delight at the company’s selection for manufacturing an AI for a recently launched product by a global agrochemical innovator. He highlighted that this demonstrated their customers’ faith in the company’s research and development capabilities, coupled with an array of chemical technologies at the production scale to deliver custom manufactured chemicals. The production of this AI will be executed in a new production block, whose completion is on schedule.
