CelerityX partners with MAFCOCS to deploy OneX solution across 40,000 bank branches in Maharashtra
CelerityX, the enterprise networking solutions division of OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), which is India’s fourth-largest private Internet Service Provider and a subsidiary of Hinduja Global Solutions Limited, has announced the launch of its unified network-as-a-service solution, OneX. This cutting-edge solution encompasses network management, security, and LAN-side control. In a strategic move, CelerityX has partnered with the Maharashtra State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation (MAFCOCS) to deploy OneX across over 40,000 bank branches in Maharashtra, aiming to enhance secure and high-uptime banking connectivity.
OneX is designed to address the connectivity challenges prevalent especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. It simplifies the networking landscape by providing agile and secure connectivity. Leveraging multiple WAN technologies, including mobile SIMs, OneX ensures high uptime, zero-trust-based networks, and comprehensive security across all locations. For cooperative credit societies in Maharashtra, this solution offers streamlined connectivity integrating broadband and mobile SIM with advanced firewall and zero-radius perimeter security solutions.
The innovative costing structure of OneX is tailored to benefit even the smallest of credit societies by providing essential services to prevent cyberattacks on their network infrastructure. CelerityX received its first order from Samta Sahakari Patasanstha, covering its branches in Maharashtra, with additional discussions ongoing with various other societies.
Om Prakash Dadaapa, also known as Kaka Koyate, president of MAFCOCS, emphasized the growing significance of credit societies in Maharashtra, stating, “These credit societies are increasingly becoming significant in their size and impact compared to cooperative and national banks… OneX addresses these challenges seamlessly – providing a Unified Threat Management Solution including network, firewall, and endpoint security to all credit societies.” Sameer Kanse, Chief Business Officer of CelerityX, highlighted the democratization of banking connectivity for cooperative credit societies through this partnership.
With robust infrastructure and scalable technology, OneX has the potential to connect over 100,000 branches across India, thus promoting financial inclusion and supporting the growth of the rural sector. The solution also boasts the ‘Make In India’ certification for its software-defined WAN, which ensures efficient bandwidth utilization without downtime.
This strategic partnership between CelerityX and MAFCOCS represents a significant advancement in network management and security for the cooperative banking sector in Maharashtra. By deploying the OneX solution, CelerityX is not only enhancing the technological infrastructure of these institutions but also contributing significantly to rural and financial inclusion in India.
