Capsa Healthcare acquires pharmacy automation solutions provider RoboPharma

Capsa Healthcare, a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has acquired NewRobo Development and subsidiaries (collectively, RoboPharma), based in Netherlands, which creates and implements pharmacy automation solutions for European pharmacies.

RoboPharma is said to be expanding its technology in Europe, Australasia, and Africa. The company is engaged in designing and installation of user-friendly pharmacy automation systems for delivering speed, reliability, simplicity, and maximizing the space available.

Its products are said to include the complete variety for high-speed, high-efficiency prescription fulfillment, in addition to software that interfaces to all the leading external pharmacy systems, logistics solutions, and central fill build-outs.

Based in Oregon, Capsa Healthcare offers engineered workflow products that boost efficiency and lower costs, improve medication security, and tighten inventory control across healthcare settings across the world.

The core offerings of Capsa Healthcare include mobile workstations, pharmacy automation products, and medication management solutions sold to more than 3,000 end customers, which include major health systems, senior care communities, and leading retail and institutional pharmacies.
