Brook and Whittle acquires printed label solutions firm Label Impressions
Brook and Whittle, a provider of pressure sensitive and shrink sleeve prime labels, has acquired California-based Label Impressions for an undisclosed price.
Label Impressions provides printed label solutions to brands and customers in growth-oriented segments of household and personal care, premium beverage, nutraceuticals, food, beauty and cosmetics, cannabis, and other end markets.
Brook and Whittle said that the addition of Label Impressions’ West Coast presence to its strong existing footprint in the Northeast, Midwest, and South results in a coast to coast US manufacturing network to better cater to the requirements of customers.
Furthermore, Label Impressions also brings in various new manufacturing capabilities to Brook & Whittle such as sachets and packets, stand up pouches, smart packaging, protective packaging, security labels, and augmented reality.
Mark Pollard – CEO of Brook & Whittle said: “Label Impressions is a very exciting business that we are thrilled to acquire. We have uniquely aligned cultures focused on market leading innovation, which we believe will result in a very productive partnership.
“We are eager to combine our efforts on product development and sustainable packaging solutions. Jeff and his team have built an amazing company that truly parallels Brook & Whittle’s vision and strategy, and I look forward to working with them to better serve our customers together.”
The facility leadership team and employees of Label Impressions will continue to handle the site’s day-to-day operations.
Jeff Salisbury – the former owner of Label Impressions, said: “We have a strong history of consistent quality, technical expertise and innovation.
“This partnership will further enhance our value proposition to customers, and we are excited to bring our insights to the Brook & Whittle team.”
Brook & Whittle, which is majority-owned by private equity firm Snow Phipps Group has made its third add-on transaction with Label Impressions since the latter’s initial investment in October 2017. Previously, Brook & Whittle purchased Prime Package & Label in November 2018 followed by last month’s acquisition of Croydon.
