In a significant expansion of its portfolio, BRIX Holdings, LLC, a leading multi-brand franchising group known for its focus on superior restaurant brands such as Friendly’s, Red Mango, and Orange Leaf, announced its definitive agreement to acquire all assets of Clean Juice, the pioneering USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise. This deal, set to close in the upcoming weeks, marks a pivotal moment for BRIX as it continues to enhance its national presence.
With this acquisition, BRIX Holdings will integrate more than 75 existing Clean Juice locations, along with a dozen more that are currently under development, into its network. This move will increase BRIX’s portfolio to over 300 locations across eight distinct brands, significantly bolstering its market footprint and reinforcing its commitment to offering health-conscious dining options.
Sherif Mityas, CEO of BRIX Holdings, highlighted the alignment between the two companies, stating, “Our BRIX portfolio of brands all share a common thread: each has a unique and differentiated position in their sector with loyal guests and fans. Clean Juice fits right into that mold with a strong foundation of beloved and certified organic offerings that effectively extend our spectrum of ‘better-for-you’ options.”
Founded in 2016 by Landon and Kat Eckles, Clean Juice started as the first USDA-certified organic juice and food bar franchise, focusing on a healthy, organic lifestyle. The brand offers a comprehensive menu of certified organic products, including cold-pressed juices, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, açaí bowls, toasts, salads, and other nutritious foods.
Landon Eckles, co-founder and CEO of Clean Juice, shared his enthusiasm for the merger, stating, “We launched this concept with a vision of redefining the fast-casual landscape by introducing an option that truly supports an overall healthy and organic lifestyle.” He expressed confidence in the brand’s future growth and success under the BRIX Holdings umbrella.
