BMW Industries to convert CC billets into TMT rebars for Tata Steel

BMW Industries () has signed an agreement with (TSL) for converting CC billets into TMT rebars at its steel processing centre in .

The agreement comes with a price variation clause, said the Indian steel service centre (SSC). It is also long-term in nature and will be valid till 30 September 2025.

claimed that it has built the capabilities to provide 360-degree services to its clients, ranging from processing to logistics services.

Its current capacity utilization at the steel processing centre in Kolkata is around 40% and the agreement with Tata Steel is likely to boost it to result in better revenue and profitability, said BMW Industries.

In a statement, BMW Industries, said: “The company has a long association of over 3 decades with Tata Steel Limited (TSL) and during this journey, has set up many processing/manufacturing facilities for TATA Steel.”
