Bank of Baroda deploys NCR ATM-as-a-Service to transform ATM fleet

Bank of Baroda has selected US-based enterprise technology provider NCR Corporation for deploying the latter’s ATM-as-a-Service solution for transforming almost half of its ATM fleet.

By using the ATM-as-a-Service solution at more than 9,800 ATMs, Bank of Baroda will be able to move management of its self-service channel, including security, compliance, and software updates, to NCR Corporation.

“By outsourcing the management of our ATMs with NCR, we’ll be able to offer a more modern experience and expanded transaction options via our self-service channel. At the same time, our staff will have more time to focus on our core strengths and growth-focused initiatives.”

With the ATM transformation solution in place, Bank of Baroda is expected to get increased availability and uptime of its ATMs, a better predictable cost structure and the ability to provide seamless transactions to customers.
