Badgley Mischka launches new swimwear collection for men and women
US design house Badgley Mischka has launched its new swimwear collection on the runway at the Miami Swim Week 2019 held at The W Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida.
The Badgley Swimwear collection consists of both women’s and men’s swimwear with elegant, classic silhouettes, couture design infused with signature details.
The new swimwear collection can be bought at Badgley Mischka’s retail flagship at Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and also on the design house’s website.
James Mischka – Co-Founder and Designer of Badgley Mischka said: “As we expand our collection beyond couture dresses and daywear, we wanted to create beautiful, elaborately designed swimwear one could wear as a bodysuit, but also enjoy at the beach. We like to add a little touch of glamour to everyday life.”
The women’s collection of Badgley Swimwear collection features 30 pieces ranging from ruffled one-pieces, high-waisted bikinis with beading, to solid string bikinis in two-tone reversible colors.
The price ranges are from $89 MRP for bottoms to $349 MRP for a one-piece with beading and silk flowers. All swimwear is available in a variety of sizes from XS-XL with many of the designs can be worn as swimwear and also as bodysuits.
On the other hand, the men’s collection of Badgley Swimwear collection has 10 pieces which are crafted from technical swim twill. The fabric is said to offer ultimate comfort with a looper back construction and protection against the elements courtesy of a water-resistant finish. Badgley Mischka says that the design reflects a fresh design silhouette that comes with bright Caribbean-inspired prints and attention to details such as custom hardware, colorful drawstring cords, and unique rivets.
