Azelis expands in South Africa with acquisition of CPS Chemicals (Coatings)
Azelis, a global leader in the distribution of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of CPS Chemicals (Coatings) Pty Ltd, a South African distributor specializing in products for the paint, ink, resins, paper, plastics, and rubber industries. This strategic move enhances Azelis‘ footprint in South Africa and is poised to accelerate growth within the broader EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.
Founded in 1993 and based in Durban, CPS Chemicals (Coatings) brings to Azelis a strong market position bolstered by long-standing relationships with global principals and a deep-rooted local customer base. The company’s portfolio includes a wide range of specialty chemicals primarily serving the paint and ink sectors. With a team of 11, CPS Chemicals (Coatings) is recognized for its dynamic service levels and extensive technical expertise.
