Axis Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, is set to enhance customer relationships with the launch of the second edition of its ‘Sparsh Week 2024’. Running from August 5th to 9th, this customer-centric initiative aims to reinforce the bank’s commitment to “delighting customers every day.” The week will feature a variety of activities designed to engage both employees and customers, highlighting the bank’s dedication to continuous customer satisfaction.

Aligning with Sparsh’s core philosophy of ‘Listen, Act, and Celebrate,’ Axis Bank will host an array of programs including Masterclasses, Fireside Chats, Customer and Leadership Connects, and Panel Discussions. These events are intended to provide valuable insights from industry experts, reinforcing the ethos of customer delight across the organisation. As part of the initiative, Axis Bank will offer several exclusive promotions through its extensive network of over 5,000 branches.

Among the notable promotions is a ₹30 lakh family health insurance plan available at an annual premium of ₹2,499. Customers can also benefit from a free Axis Direct Account with access to Smart Edge and a basket of stocks offering up to 72% return in a year*. For those interested in vehicle purchases, the bank is providing up to 100% on-road funding, including for Electric Vehicles, with interest rates approximately 50 basis points lower. Education financing is also on offer, with 100% loan coverage for education, including living expenses, pre-visa disbursement, and pre-admission sanction letters.

In addition, Axis Bank is offering 12 EMIs* off on Fast Forward & Shubh Aarambh Home Loans for amounts exceeding ₹30 lakh. For those opening a Prestige & Sampann Account, there is a ₹250 Amazon voucher available.

Vijay Mulbagal, Group Executive at Axis Bank, emphasised the importance of customer satisfaction in his comments on the launch. He noted that “happy customers bring all of their banking needs to the bank and refer friends & family.” Mulbagal highlighted that Sparsh 2.0 values—listening with intent, empathising with customers, and focusing on input metrics—are crucial for creating moments of customer delight. He assured that Sparsh Week will be filled with activities aimed at enhancing these values and providing special promotions.

This year’s Sparsh Week will also feature several customer engagement initiatives. These include opportunities for customers to interact with bank representatives across select branches, efforts to familiarise senior citizen customers with digital banking tools, and test drives along with auto loan offers in select cities. The ‘Samaroh’ initiative will build connections with potential customers and raise awareness about Axis Bank’s products and services. Additionally, there will be special recognition for customers from large corporates and conglomerates.

Sparsh Week has been instrumental in boosting Axis Bank’s Net Promoter Score (NPS), with notable improvements over the past two years. According to a recent Kantar survey, Axis Bank now ranks as the second-highest in retail banking customer satisfaction.
