Aster DM Healthcare opens multi-specialty hospital in Sharjah
Aster DM Healthcare, through its hospital arm Aster Hospital, has opened a multi-specialty hospital in Sharjah to cater to the healthcare needs of the northern emirate’s residents.
Spread across 200,000 ft2, the multi-specialty hospital in Sharjah has a total of 100 beds and offers services related to obstetrics and gynaecology, neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, cardiology, general surgery, and urology.
Speaking on the launch of the new Sharjah hospital, Dr. Azad Moopen — Aster DM Healthcare Founder Chairman and Managing Director, said: “The 100-bed facility equipped with modern healthcare infrastructure brings highly skilled professionals who will provide the full spectrum of secondary and tertiary care services to our patients.”
The new multi-specialty hospital in Sharjah marks the fifth Aster Hospital in the UAE and 30th across the region.

Aster DM Healthcare is a private healthcare service provider operating in GCC and India.
The Indian healthcare service provider has a presence across primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary healthcare through 29 hospitals, 121 clinics, 421 pharmacies, 17 laboratories, and 109 patient experience centres in seven countries, including India.
Earlier this week, Aster DM Healthcare said that its retail arm Aster Pharmacy has entered into a partnership with Al Hokair to expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia.
