Anupam Rasayan wins $265m contract from Japanese specialty chemical firm
SURAT, INDIA – Anupam Rasayan, a leading player in the Indian custom synthesis and specialty chemical industry, has announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) with a prominent Japanese specialty chemical company.
The agreement, which spans over five years, entails a revenue worth $265 Mn (approximately ₹2,186 crores) to supply a new age patented life science active ingredient.
The next eighteen months will be dedicated to the validation phase of the product. Upon successful validation, the supply of the new product will commence from CY2025. The active ingredient will be manufactured at Anupam Rasayan’s existing multipurpose manufacturing facilities.
This contract showcases Anupam Rasayan’s strong foothold in the specialty chemical market and its capacity to meet the growing global demand for new-age life science ingredients.
The successful validation and subsequent production of this active ingredient could further solidify Anupam Rasayan’s position as a trusted supplier of innovative chemical solutions in the global market.
