Amber Enterprises India and IL JIN secure PLI approval for white goods

Amber Enterprises Limited and its subsidiary have secured approval from the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods (Air Conditioners).

The approval for is for the target segment of ACs (Components) under the normal investment with thresholds incremental investment of INR 300 crores.

For IL JIN Electronics India, the approval is for the target segment of lower value intermediaries of ACs under the large investment category with thresholds incremental investment of INR 100 crores.

— Chairman and CEO at Amber Enterprises India said: “The production linked incentive (PLI) scheme approved by the government would help provide a level-playing field to domestic players and create an enabling environment for the industry to compete globally.
