Adani Green Energy wins 150MW solar power project in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), through its fully-owned subsidiary – Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Limited (AREHFifteenL), has bagged a 150MW solar power project in Gujarat in a tender issued by Torrent Power.

The fixed tariff for the solar power plant in Gujarat is INR2.22/ kWh for a period of 25 years.

Adani Green Energy anticipates bringing the solar power project online by the third quarter of FY2023.

Currently, 3.52GW of Adani Green Energy’s renewable energy projects are in operational stage.

With the new project win, Adani Green Energy has a total portfolio 15.39GW, of which 11.87GW projects are under implementation.

Last month, the Indian renewable energy company wrapped up its previously announced acquisition of Spinel Energy & Infrastructure (SEIL), the holding company of a 20MW operating solar power project in Uttar Pradesh.
