Adani Green Energy commissions 324MW Dhar wind farm in Madhya Pradesh
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) said that its subsidiary – Adani Wind Energy MP One Private Ltd (AWEMP1PL) has started operations of the Dhar wind farm in Madhya Pradesh, a 324.4MW wind power plant in Dhar.
According to the Adani Group company wind power plant is underpinned by a couple of 25-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The PPAs are for capacities of 274.4MW and 50MW, at INR 2.83/kwh.
Following the commissioning of the Dhar wind farm in Madhya Pradesh, Adani Green Energy Limited has taken its operational power generation capacity to 6.1GW. Its total renewable portfolio now stands at around 20.4GW and is said to be on track to reach the targeted capacity of 25GW by 2025.
Adani Green Energy Limited, in a statement on the Dhar wind farm in Madhya Pradesh, said: “The newly commissioned plant will be managed by the Adani Group’s intelligent ‘Energy Network Operation Centre’ platform, which has proven technological capability and has aided AGEL in achieving superior operational performance of its entire renewable portfolio spread across diverse locations in India.”
