Adani Enterprises forms new defense company PLR Systems (India)

Adani Enterprises said that its step-down subsidiary Ordefence Systems Limited has incorporated a company dubbed as PLR Systems (India) Limited.

According to Adani Enterprises, PLR Systems (India) will be engaged in manufacturing defense and security equipment for supporting the Indian Armed Forces.

Ordefence Systems already has an existing subsidiary called PLR Systems Private Limited, which is engaged in manufacturing small arms. The new subsidiary — PLR Systems (India) will manufacture ordnance and related material for the Indian Armed Forces as well as export markets.

According to Adani Enterprises, the authorized share capital of PLR Systems (India) is INR 1 lakh and its paid-up share capital is also INR 1 lakh.

The new company is yet to commence operations, said the Indian conglomerate.

Earlier this month, Adani Enterprises incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary called Noida Data Center Limited (NDCL), which will focus on developing, operating, maintaining, and dealing with the business of data centers, IT, ITeS, and cloud.
