Adani Cement unveils green concrete solution ACC ECOMaxX

Adani Cement said that its cement and building material subsidiary ACC Limited will launch a green concrete solution called ACC ECOMaxX in Mumbai and other locations in the next few days.

The new range of green concrete solution is targeted at building a sustainable future by means of conscious green construction, claimed the Adani Group company.

Adani Cement said that ACC ECOMaxX has 30-100% lower embodied carbon content compared to a reference concrete designed with Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC).

The company claimed that ACC ECOMaxX products are developed by using a green ready mix technology that enables maximizing green impact by lowering emissions of CO2 by up to 100%. The new green concrete product range utilizes CO2 reduced binders and is said to be produced with optimized mix design to improve both durability and finish.

Last year, Adani Group acquired ACC Ltd. along with Ambuja Cements to become the second-largest cement company in India.
