AccuRisk acquires Tandem Medical Solutions from Resolution Reinsurance

AccuRisk Holdings, a Chicago-based managing general underwriter, has acquired Tandem Medical Solutions from Resolution Reinsurance Intermediaries (ResRe) for an undisclosed price.

Established nearly five years ago, Tandem Medical Solutions provides medical GAP insurance solutions, which have been designed to help bring down the health plan costs of employers as well as the out-of-pocket expenses for employees.

Tandem Medical Solutions, which is based in Columbia, South Carolina, is engaged in underwriting and distributing medical GAP insurance in 37 states in the US.

Tandem Medical Solutions will be part of AccuRisk Ancillary Solutions, which was created last October for developing and procuring new products in the ancillary marketplace.
