Accenture strengthens cloud capabilities with acquisition of Nextira

Accenture, a global professional services company, has completed the acquisition of Nextira, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Partner known for its cloud-native innovation, predictive analytics, and immersive experiences for clients.

The strategic move will enhance Accenture Cloud First’s engineering capabilities, providing clients with an expanded range of cloud solutions and tools. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Established in 2008 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Nextira brings its team of nearly 70 employees to join the Accenture AWS Business Group. This group consists of over 20,000 certified professionals dedicated to maximizing enterprise-wide transformation at speed and scale by accelerating value on AWS.

Nextira specializes in building cloud-based solutions and services, leveraging cutting-edge engineering skills, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data analytics. Their expertise enables clients to design, build, launch, and optimize high-performance computing environments. Additionally, Nextira’s proprietary Studio in the Cloud solution on AWS offers clients a virtual environment to develop and render 3D objects using the latest rendering platforms.
