Accenture Federal Services bags $170m TSA contract

Accenture Federal Services has secured a substantial contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), valued at a ceiling of $170 million. This Blanket Purchase Agreement under the Security Operations (SO) Flexible Agile Scalable Teams (FAST) initiative represents a significant commitment to bolstering the security of the nation’s transportation systems.

The TSA’s Security Operations are pivotal in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation across various modes—air, rail, maritime, and pipeline—both domestically and globally. Operating at around 440 airports in the U.S. and overseeing more than 280 international airports, TSA SO’s scope is extensive. The focus of this new contract is to enhance checkpoint and baggage screening processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards through innovative solutions.

As we kick-off this new chapter, we look forward to using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technologies to help TSA Security Operations operate with greater efficiency and enhanced business value.”
