Accenture expands creative horizons with acquisition of Brazil’s SOKO

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has successfully completed its acquisition of SOKO, a distinguished Brazilian creative agency known for its profound impact on brand storytelling and societal influence. Announced on May 2, 2024, this acquisition seamlessly integrates approximately 300 SOKO employees into Droga5 São Paulo, enhancing the agency’s capabilities and influence both in Brazil and across Latin America.

The integration into Droga5 São Paulo, a part of Accenture Song—the world’s largest tech-powered creative group—marks a significant step in strengthening creative and brand capabilities within the market. SOKO’s co-CEOs, Felipe Simi and Brisa Vicente, have taken on new roles as CEO and Creative Chairperson, and co-CEO, respectively. Additionally, Felipe Belinky, formerly an associated partner, has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Droga5 São Paulo.

Founded in São Paulo in 2015 by Felipe Simi, SOKO has carved a niche in the advertising world through its innovative brand storytelling, engaging audiences organically with its proprietary methodologies and metrics. The agency is lauded as one of Brazil’s top three advertising agencies by SCOPEN, recognized for its excellence in innovation and creativity.
