Ducon Infratechnologies is L-1 bidder for FGD order for Barauni Thermal Power Project, Stage II

Ducon Infratechnologies said that it has prevailed as the lowest bidder (L‐1) in a reverse auction for a contract held by NTPC pertaining to the Barauni Thermal Power Project, Stage II.

The contract is for a flue gas desulphurization system (FGD) for the power plant located in Bihar.

Stage 2 of the Barauni Thermal Power Project will comprise two new units of 250MW each.

Ducon Infratechnologies said that this is one of the projects it had directly bid and that the anticipated value of the contract is between Rs 500 and Rs 600 crores.

The company said that it continues to take part actively in bidding on flue gas desulphurization and also material handling system projects.

Ducon Infratechnologies is directly bidding and also jointly with other EPC companies for flue gas desulphurization projects.
