Kemin Industries acquires Archangel to enhance biofuel production capabilities

Kemin Industries, a global leader in ingredient manufacturing, has announced the acquisition of Archangel Inc., a company specializing in the development of antimicrobials for fermentative biofuel production. Founded in 2015 by Allen Ziegler, Archangel has been at the forefront of creating advanced bacterial control solutions tailored to the biofuel industry.

This acquisition is a significant milestone for Kemin as it continues to expand its presence in the biofuels sector. With over 30 years of experience, Ziegler joins Kemin as the Principal Sales Manager for the Kemin Bio Solutions business unit. “This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity for us to provide more complete solutions for our customers to automate the supply of life’s products,” said Jason Ackerman, General Manager at Kemin Bio Solutions.
