California-based Maffei Insurance & Financial Services acquired by Heffernan Network
Heffernan Network Insurance Brokers, a subsidiary of Heffernan Insurance Brokers that offers market access and support services to local insurance agencies, has taken over Maffei Insurance & Financial Services, based in Stockton, California.
As of April 1, 2023, Don Maffei, the founder and CEO, along with 12 team members have joined Heffernan Network.
Since its inception in 2005, Maffei Insurance & Financial Services has been a family-owned and operated entity. It has additional offices in Carmel, Fresno, and Visalia and specializes in personal lines insurance, with a growing portfolio in commercial lines. The collaboration with Heffernan Network will equip Maffei Insurance & Financial Services with added resources for its personal lines clientele and substantial support to expand in diverse commercial sectors.

Despite the acquisition, Maffei Insurance & Financial Services will continue to operate independently as a subsidiary agency of Heffernan Network. It will utilize the market access, resources, and support of Heffernan Network to further its growth.
