Vultr, a cloud computing company, and Domino Data Lab, a provider of an Enterprise MLOps platform, have announced the integration of Domino Nexus with the latter’s Kubernetes Engine.

The integration is designed to empower businesses in the era of generative artificial intelligence (AI), enabling them to accelerate innovation while effectively managing compute cost, performance, and availability. It allows seamless bursting of cutting-edge AI workloads to graphics processing unit (GPU) accelerated compute clusters across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Nick Elprin — Domino Data Lab CEO and co-founder said: “Customers seeking AI-driven competitive advantage must grapple with staggering GPU demand and cost pressures.

“Our integration with Vultr provides enterprises on-demand compute to keep developing cutting-edge AI without budget overspend.”

The collaboration between Vultr and Domino builds upon their recent partnership, which grants enterprise data science teams unprecedented access to NVIDIA-powered cloud infrastructure on Vultr. This includes access to NVIDIA A100 and H100 Tensor Core GPUs, providing the capability to train, deploy, and manage deep learning models with exceptional speed, flexibility, and affordability. Both Vultr and Domino are members of the NVIDIA Partner Network program.

The joint offering leverages Vultr Kubernetes Engine (VKE) and Domino’s hybrid- and multi-cloud architecture, Nexus, to eliminate data science silos and provide flexible compute options with a focus on cost, performance, and scalability. By prioritizing openness, flexibility, and open standards, this solution democratizes AI innovation, enabling teams of any size, budget, and location to participate.
