1440 Foods, a leading portfolio of active nutrition brands, has announced plans to open a new production facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This development is part of an initiative to meet the growing demand for healthy, on-the-go snacking options. The facility, backed by 4×4 Capital and Bain Capital Private Equity, represents a significant investment of over $60 million in the local economy.

Strategic Expansion to Support Growing Demand

The new facility, located at 301 Salem Road in the River Ridge Commerce Center, will encompass 200,000 square feet of renovated office and manufacturing space. The expansion includes the installation of new equipment and is supported by up to $3.7 million in incentive-based tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). The project also gains support from other partners such as America Place and One Southern Indiana (1si).

Alexandre Médicis, Chairman of the Board for 1440 Foods, emphasized the strategic choice of Jeffersonville: “The opening of the Jeffersonville location is a significant milestone in our plan to make protein-rich snacking options accessible to as many people as possible. Jeffersonville was perfect due to its proximity to major transportation channels and availability of a skilled and ready workforce.”
