Xperience Restaurant Group acquires restaurant portfolio from RM Restaurant Group
Xperience Restaurant Group, a casual and fine dining operator, has acquired Texas-based Rio Mambo Tex Mex y Mas and THE RIM scratch craft eats from RM Restaurant Group, expanding into the Lone Star state.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Xperience Restaurant Group anticipates to add six restaurant locations to its casual and fine-dining culinary roster.
Rio Mambo Tex Mex y Mas offers Tex-Mex menu and blended margaritas, with four locations in Fort Worth, Colleyville, Burleson, and Weatherford, Texas.
THE RIM scratch craft eats, with two locations in Fort Worth and Burleson, Texas, serves American retro food.

The Tex-Mex menu includes gluten-free and low-fat options as well as its traditional Tex-Mex fare.
Continuing its expansion to the east coast, Xperience Restaurant Group plans to open SOL Mexican Cocina locations in New York City and Boston later this year.
Xperience Restaurant Group is a portfolio company of Z Capital Partners, the private equity fund management arm of Z Capital Group. It currently operates 68 restaurants throughout the US, including El Torito, Chevys Fresh Mex, El Torito Grill, SOL Mexican Cocina, Acapulco, Solita Tacos & Margaritas, Sinigual, Las Brisas, and Who Song & Larry’s.
