Wipro to help Menzies Aviation transform air cargo services
Wipro said that it has been roped in by London-based aviation services company Menzies Aviation for the transformation of its air cargo management services.
According to Wipro, the collaboration will further strengthen Menzies Aviation’s standing as a top cargo handler in the market. It will allow the latter to increase its services and utilize advanced technology.
The partnership will also boost efficiency while keeping customers, employees, partners, along with the environment, at the center of the transformation.
Wipro said that its cargo handling product was designed using cloud-native technology and will meet all of the requirements of Menzies Aviation as well as those of the wider air cargo industry.
The cargo handling product was created to enhance efficiency in business, improve employee experience and customer service with greater automation, and offer crucial business insight with top-of-the-line security, said Wipro.
The Indian IT company said that the product will give greater transparency of the location of cargo for Menzies Aviation as well as its customers to support scanning technology for cargo as well as documents, and connect directly with the customers’ operating systems. This will lead to more transparency and real-time tracking, said Wipro.
It will also allow innovative technologies for warehouses in the near future, such as robots, autonomous vehicles, and paperless environments.

Menzies Aviation will begin launching its Wipro product in five of its air cargo areas. These include Bucharest, Wellington, Christchurch, Auckland, and Macau in China by the end of this year with plans to further integrate it across Menzies Aviation’s worldwide network by the end of next year.
